"MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY IN PHYSICAL THERAPY"

Technology is very helpful for the human kind .There is numerous inventions. Man will be grateful for what the technology

Technology interfere the man's life in all fields. Agricultural, manufactural, medical and space fields are now under control of Technology .However, no one can deny its role in the progress of the human kind. But in my opinion, the most important field of all is the medical technology because it made the man able to every tiny organisms like viruses and knowing its internal organs. In physical therapy, It enable the physiotherapist to cure the patient with less effort, more comfortable for the physiotherapist and make it sheep and available for every one to use it helping to maintain one's balance and also moving easily. For example, in hydrotherapy, there are a lot of devices like Hubbard tank, whirl pools and contrast baths which made to treat patients who are suffering from diseases like:
Sub acute / chronic soft tissue injuries.
Muscle contractures.
Scar formation.
Pressure ulcers.
Burns with intact thermal sensation.
Peripheral nervous system pathology (Polyneyropathy).
Muscle weakness from central nervous system (Hemiplegia).
By the help of NASA government in the United States of America (U.S.A.), there are a lot of devices which have been invented by worldwide scientists. These techniques like "Goddard Technique" which supporting the patient's body weight allowing patients who can not stand independently to receive physical therapy exercises in safe, stable and without constant attention from the therapist. This device helps patients who suffer from diseases like:
Arthritis.
Lou Gehring's diseases.
Parkinson's and many other diseases or traumatic injuries
Goddard's cables control the patient's pelvis. This device consists of connected cable segments provides the stability, twisting and shock absorption and allowing several important benefits for the patients including reduce injuries for then by rehabitation signification and medical benefits also for the physiotherapist by increasing the staff efficiency.
KERLEY invented (CCJ) and later teamed up with other scientists called EKLUND and CRANE to develop an early version of the WALKER.
Another scientist called NORDEN E. HUANG from China. This scientist invented the "Hilbert-Huang Transformation (HHT)" Technology which is a new method for time frequency-energy analysis. It works as a function of time providing the superior alternative to "Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT)". HHT can be used in a wide range of application s including analysis underwater, a caustic singles, design of noise-blocking headphones, structure of machine health diagnosis, heart rate, blood pressure, earthquake and other biomedical monitoring. Goddard summit includes numerous scientists who invented very helpful inventions. They are:
HILBERT HAUNG: who pioneered a device which can be used to analyze heart rate, blob pressure and other biological signals.
JEANNETTE BENAVIDES: who made a "Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes" which can be used as a pacemaker, implantable biosensors, heating aids and other medical devices.
HARRY SHAW, MELANIE IPP and MICHELE MANUEL: who developed sol-gel filled fiber optics which can be used in biosensors.

So, thanks for scientists who sacrifice their lives to facilitate ours and guarantee us a very nice, happy and good life.
